REpair Needle for fixing snags in knitted fabrics
Knit Repair Needle
Made in Europe
Description
Who hasn't had the experience of not paying attention for a second and getting your knitted sweater caught on Velcro, a rough table edge or something similar? Suddenly a thread pulls out of the knitted fabric, but as long as it doesn't tear, you can quickly and easily fix the snags yourself. Use this specially developed knitting repair needle with a hook by REH (GERMANY). Turn the pulled thread from the right surface of your sweater or cardigan to the reverse side or between the other knit meshes. In no time at all, your knitted piece will look like new again.
Tip: If you get caught on Velcro and there are still some finer, fluffy fibres visible, carefully remove them with an electric knitwear shaver.
Step 1.0
Insert the hook of the needle through the back side of the knitted textile. If you’re repairing a double-face or reversible knit, pass the hook through the back and in between the two knitted sides.
Step 2.0
Adjust the hook to draw the overstretched snag towards the back side of the knitted textile. If you’re fixing the reversible doubleface knit, move the overstretched between the two knitted sides.
Step 3.0
Once you’ve pulled the snag towards the back side or between the two reversible sides, carefully remove the needle. Then stretch the entire knitted material around the snag, allowing it to slightly return to its original position.
