\u00bbSuiban Grey\u00ab is a multi-purpose stoneware ceramic plate tray, functioning as tableware and plantware. Use it as a tray to display fruits, bread or nuts. Place it in the kitchen or on a table as an elegant m\u00e9nage for oil and vinegar bottles or the matching REH (GERMANY) ceramic sugar and salt jars with hole<\/a> or jam jars with lid<\/a>. The universal shape, however, also allows for using it as a minimal Ikebana ceramic tray plate for decorating flowers on a kenzan. The \u00bbSuiban Grey\u00ab ceramic tray features a grey surface with very few subtle speckles for a natural and timeless aesthetic. This genuine stoneware ceramic is hand-thrown by one of the last family-run stoneware ceramic manufacturers in Germany. All REH (GERMANY) stoneware ceramics are authentic and fired with a temperature of up to 1300 \u00b0C, which makes them dishwasher-safe.<\/p>\n

This ceramic is part of the grey and unglazed \u00bbSingular\u00ab tableware collection designed in 2021, which emerged out of the black and white ceramic collection \u00bbPolar\u00ab from 2015. All ceramics are designed to be mixed with each other in every day life.<\/p>\n

Embracing both polarity and singularity, becomes a path to understanding the profound interplay of existence. It invites us to navigate life’s complexities while recognising the underlying unity that binds us all. In this delicate dance between the dual and singular, we find a deeper connection to the fabric of existence itself.<\/p>\n

While our ceramic collections seem homogeneous at first, each piece is singular with subtle unique differences, influenced by factors such as hand-thrown production on the potter’s wheel, glazing, shrinkage during the drying processes, and the varying heat temperatures depending on the oven placement during the double-firing process.<\/p>\n
