The grey-glazed and unglazed \u00bbBrutal & Beuys\u00ab egg cup set of four is stackable and designed for the serving of eggs. Thanks to its universal shape, you can also use it for serving sauces, jam or for the decoration of tealights. The unique, subtle shape with a narrow base gives this ceramic design a weightless look and feel. All REH (GERMANY) stoneware ceramics are hand-thrown by one of the last family-run stoneware ceramic manufacturers in Germany. Since they are fired with 1300 \u00b0C, all ceramics are dishwasher-safe, and withstand water heated up to 70 \u00b0C.<\/p>\n

The distinct raw, unglazed finish of the \u00bbBeuys\u00ab egg cups pays homage to the pioneering German artist Joseph \u00bbBeuys\u00ab, known for advocating an expanded concept of art using raw, natural materials. He sought to collectively address ecological crises through non-dualistic thinking, aligning with our true purpose \u2013 the preservation of nature, our source.<\/p>\n

The grey-green glaze is reminiscent of the natural colour of lichen on trees or the colouration of raw concrete, which is why the stoneware ceramic egg cups are named \u00bbBrutal\u00ab, in reference to brutalist architectural buildings.<\/p>\n
