This white speckled ceramic plate \u00bbFriedl\u00e4nder\u00ab with a diameter of 22 cm, is a genuine stoneware ceramic, hand-thrown by one of the last family-operated stoneware ceramic manufacturers in Germany. The white spotted stoneware plate features a minimal clean aesthetic with dark speckles and a matt surface. This high-quality ceramic plate is not only dishwasher-safe but can also withstand water heated up to 70\u00b0C. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, it is designed for everyday use, making it suitable for various settings including homes, restaurants, hotels, holiday apartments, and professional office spaces.<\/p>\n

The name of the plate is an homage to the Bauhaus ceramicist Marguerite \u00bbFriedl\u00e4nder\u00ab-Wildenhain from Lyon, France. She was the first woman to achieve the Master Potter certification in Germany (1925) after studying at the Bauhaus. She later founded the Pond Farm Workshops in California.<\/p>\n

This ceramic is part of the black and white matte \u00bbPolar\u00ab Tableware Collection designed in 2015, from which the grey and unglazed collection \u00bbSingular\u00ab evolved, in 2021. All ceramics are designed to be mixed with each other in every day life.<\/p>\n
